While sitting at my desk at work a few weeks ago, gazing out through my window, I came up with an idea, (may have been done before, but that’s okay) which was seriously non-work related.
The building I work at in the city is fortunate enough to have a view over the river. One thursday after the purchase of my very first iPhone, I just took a photo of the view. Because the view has deciduous trees and grass and other scenic bits and pieces, I thought it would be interesting to take a photo every Thursday from the same place overlooking the same scene and just compare the pictures over a period of a year and look at the changes. THEN I thought ‘I know, I’ll blog about it.’ And the other day started a blog.
The idea snowballed, and turned into something that I thought may actually be interesting – if other people from various places around the world did the same thing, and we could post it on the blog and compare the changes to different places in different countries/continents/hemispheres over a period of a year.
So if you are interested and want to get involved, let us know!
